HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for the driver of a teal-colored vehicle they say caused a deadly accident late Saturday night.
The FHP says the unknown vehicle was passing a line of traffic in a no passing zone on southbound US-301, south of Sun City Center Blvd, when it hit a motorcycle going northbound.

Jeffrey Ringle, 48, and Megan Ringle, 45, were both thrown from the motorcycle. They were transported to an area hospital, but Jeffrey died from his injuries. The extent of Megan's injuries is unknown.
The unknown driver ran from the scene.
The FHP is asking anyone with information regarding the suspect or the vehicle to call them at 813-558-1800.
