Hillsborough County Schools is offering a number of town hall meeting dates to let the community ask questions on the education referendum that will appear on the ballot and what it means.
Superintendent Jeff Eakins will be at each one to discuss the positive impact it will have on the schools and community.
The referendum is on the November ballot and includes a half-penny sales tax that would be used on A/C & maintenance, classroom technology, safety and security and new school construction.
It is designed to generate $131 million a year for 10 years.
