TAMPA, Fla. — The bus driver who was involved in a crash with a streetcar in downtown Tampa has been cited by police.
The crash happened at the intersection of Channelside Drive and Franklin Street around 12 p.m.

Tampa police were dispatched to the report of the crash with the HART Streetcar and a charter bus. The crash dislodged the streetcar from the tracks.
Pictures from inside the streetcar show damage to the floor.
Tampa Fire Rescue responded and transported the driver of the streetcar to the hospital for medical evaluation. He reported that he had possible minor injuries.
There were no other reported injuries.
The intersection was closed as crews worked to return the streetcar to the tracks.
The bus driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
