TAMPA, Fla. — The Florida State Fair announced it will welcome guests to its annual event from April 22 to May 2, 2021.

The Florida State Fair competitions, entertainment, carnival and other attractions and activities were initially scheduled for February 11-22, 2021 but had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“The Florida State Fair is truly a community event that our guests look forward to each and every year,” said Cheryl Flood, Executive Director of the Florida State Fair. “Like other fairs and venues across the country that have safely reopened, we are utilizing best practices and safety guidelines that have proven to be successful. With a solid safety plan in place, we remain confident in providing a safe family entertainment experience.”

While the event is mostly outdoors, the Florida State Fair said it will adhere to CDC and Florida Department of Health recommendations by providing sanitation stations inside the event, require masks and rework its indoor floor plans in an effort to allow more distancing.

Guests who pre-purchased fair tickets on the Florida State Fair’s website will be given the option to transfer tickets for the rescheduled dates.

Tickets will be on sale beginning Monday, February 1, 2021, on the Florida State Fair website.
