PLANT CITY, Fla. — An investigation is underway after one person was killed during a shooting at a birthday party in Plant City, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said the shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 5000 block of W O Griffin Road.
Around 60 people were at the birthday party when an argument escalated to gunshots, according to deputies.
Four victims were transported to local hospitals. One died and the other three "are expected to survive."
Deputies said everyone involved is cooperating in the investigation.
