SEFFNER, Fla. — The heavy rains that hit the Tampa Bay area on Monday may be to blame for causing a large tree limb to fall onto two mobile homes.
The tree fell onto the homes at the Twin Palms Mobile Home Park at 11520 U.S. 92 East in Seffner around 9:00 p.m.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue says no one was hurt when the limb fell onto the homes.
The limb seriously damaged one home. It crushed part of the roof, the carport and the car parked underneath.
Crews taped off the mobile homes, ordering them to be vacated until further notice as the damage from the fallen limb made them unsafe for human habitation.
