HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- A one-year-old child was killed, and four other people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries after a rollover crash in Ruskin on Sunday night.

The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. near 3105 Double D Ranch Trail in Ruskin. Deputies responded to the scene and found a 2004 Ford Explorer overturned in a ditch. The Ford Explorer drove right off the pavement, overcorrected, and drove left across the roadway, rolling into a ditch, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Ashley Nicole Gonzalez Quinones and Luis Miguel Arzola-Pichardo were both in the vehicle along with three minor children. A four-year-old and a three-month-old were transported with the two adults to the hospital and are currently in stable condition. Deputies say the only individual likely restrained in the vehicle was the three-month-old child.

Christopher Garcia, 1, was unrestrained in the rear of the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.
