BRANDON, Fla. — Animal rescue volunteers said they witnessed animal abuse outside of the Brandon Sheraton on Wednesday afternoon.
“I was on my lunch break and saw a guy pull up in a gray car, he threw the cats out of the car and sped off,” said Stephanie Barr.
The two cats both suffered injuries to their teeth and mouth. They are estimated to be about a year old. A volunteer with St. Francis Animal Rescue is caring for the cats.
Volunteers said animal services did not take a report, but ABC Action News has contacted animal services to see if they will open an investigation.
