LAKE PLACID, Fla. — The Highlands County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 79-year-old woman who was last seen on Thursday morning.
Deputies say Marilyn Prevatt was last seen at a SunTrust in Sebring around 9:20 a.m. on Thursday. They believe she is already out of the state, possibly heading to Indiana or New York.
Prevatt was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt and blue jeans. She is traveling in the vehicle pictured below with a small dog and all of her belongings.
Deputies say Prevatt is in the early stages of Alzheimer's and needs to be located. Please contact Det. Tim Mee at 863-402-7200 if you have any information.
