On Jan. 23, five women were killed at the SunTrust Bank in Sebring during a shooting.
Now Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast is organizing a 5k memorial walk/run in remembrance of those lost in the tragedy.
The registration fee is $10 but children 10 and under are free. All moey raised from the event will be donated to the families of the five victims.
The walk/run is on March 24 from 8 a.m. to noon at Highlands Hammock State Park located at 5931 Hammock Rd. in Sebring.
Check-in and onsite registration begins at 7 a.m.
