HIGHLANDS COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of law Enforcement is investigating a deputy-involved shooting that happened Sunday morning.
The Highlands County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to 9207 Bridle Path in Sebring at 4:49 a.m. in reference to a possible domestic dispute.

After deputies arrived, an armed man was shot and killed by deputies.
The two deputies involved and a trainee deputy, who witnessed the shooting, were not injured.
This is an ongoing investigation.
