Margaret Becker, who usually goes by the first name Helen, was last seen leaving the Publix at 2728 U.S. 27 South a little after 6:15 p.m. on January 17.
On Saturday, a search of the 106,000-acre range was launched looking for her vehicle. At approximately 1:50 p.m., divers confirmed that the vehicle was in the river.
The vehicle was still in drive and three of the windows were rolled down which indicates Becker was in the vehicle when it entered the water. However, she was not inside.
There was a thorough search of the area downstream of where the vehicle was found, but only some items that had been inside the vehicle were found.
