CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) responded to a call regarding a shooting incident with an armed suspect at a Dollar General “with apparent gunfire” off Gulf to Lake in Crystal River on Sunday.
Authorities say one person is in custody and that this is an isolated incident and not a threat to the public’s safety.
One victim was transported to an area hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities are advising citizens to avoid the area.
