CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were found dead at an assisted living facility after a reported shooting in Citrus Springs on Friday.
According to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), a man shot a woman outside the facility before shooting himself. The Sheriff's Office said the shooter was an 81-year-old man who shot his wife before taking his own life.
CCSO says the incident appears to be domestic, and there is no threat to the community.
The Sheriff's Office said there were no eyewitnesses to the shooting.
