CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — The Citrus County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a deputy-involved shooting.
It happened Friday morning in an area west of Cardinal Blvd and South Finale Point in Homosassa.
According to a news release from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office the scene has been contained and all agency personnel are safe.
There will be a large presence of deputies in the area while detectives investigate.
