SPRING HILL — SPRING HILL, Fla. -- On a GoFundMe page set up by a family member, there are pictures of the two children who are now gone.

The post says 10-year-old Kailani Vasquez was "a goofball and full of joy."

It said, "She always had a smile on her face, was a great helper, and loved to cook."

It says her brother Kaeden "was 13, super smart, loved to draw and create comic books."

The Hernando County Sheriff’s office has’t released much information about what happened Friday morning in Spring Hill.

They say deputies found a fire inside the home and three people dead. The two children and an adult.

They did confirm it was a murder-suicide.

On the GoFundMe page, it says that adult was their father who was “not in his right state of mind.”

It says this GoFundMe page was set up for the kid’s mother to help with funeral expenses.

At last check, it has raised more than $11,000.

The page says the mother is out of work now because of the pandemic and that she’s lost everything dear to her.

The schools where the two children went sent letters to families asking parents to keep an eye out for signs of grief since counselors can't be at the school right now.

But they say a remote Care Team will be available.
