SPRING HILL, Fla. — A 12-year-old has serious injuries after he was struck by a car Tuesday evening.
Florida Highway Patrol said the vehicle was heading westbound on Norvell Road when the boy entered the roadway and was struck.
Officials said the boy was skateboarding from his home and entered the roadway.
The boy suffered serious injuries after the crash and was airlifted to a local hospital.
