TAMPA, Fla. — Seven candidates are in the race to be the City of Tampa’s next Mayor. Election Day is March 5, but eligible voters can cast their ballots as early as Feb. 25.

Mike Suarez is a third generation Tampa native and an insurance agency owner. He was elected to Tampa City Council in 2011 and re-elected in 2015.
