In a Facebook live video, Andrew Gillum officially conceded the race for governor to Ron DeSantis.

Gillum made the announcement standing alongside his wife outside by a lake.

“R. Jai and I wanted to take a moment to congratulate Mr. DeSantis on becoming the next governor of the great state of Florida," Gillum says in the video.
He goes on to thank his supporters and emphasize that their voices are heard. He also discusses updating Florida's election system.
