The City of Clearwater hosts a free backpack giveaway
- Starting July 31, K-12 students and their parents can pick up a backpack stuffed with books and school supplies at all Clearwater libraries
- The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until August 4
- Each child that shows up will receive a backpack
- If the kids aren't there, two backpacks per family will be available

Sarasota Police Pack the Patrol Car School Drive
- Beginning Wednesday, July 19, 2023, through Wednesday, August 2, 2023
- New school supplies can be dropped off from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. at two different locations or purchased online:

Indian Rock Beach Vacation Rental Registration
- The City of Indian Rocks Beach Commission adopted Short-Term Rental Ordinance (2023-02) on May 9th, 2023. Per the adopted ordinance all vacation rental forms will be released to the public on or before July 14, 2023. The official start date of the new ordinance will be August 1, 2023
