A surgeon in Northern Kentucky is offering the world a glimpse into his daily life — and is hoping to teach a valuable lesson.
Dr. Royce Calhoun a theocratic surgeon St. Elizabeth Healthcare will be performing a complex lung surgery on Facebook live this morning, starting at 9:30 a.m. ET.
Calhoun will narrate the surgery as he operates while answering viewer questions.
Calhoun told Scripps station WCPO in Cincinnati that he hopes to encourage viewers to get regular check-ups in the hopes of detecting cancer early and discourage people from smoking.
