WASHINGTON, D.C. -- President Donald Trump announced on social media that he will order flags at federal buildings and national monuments to fly at half-staff to honor those who died from coronavirus.
Here in the United States, the nation has seen more than 1,575,000 cases of COVID-19 and a death toll of 94,566, according to Johns Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering's dashboard.
In Florida, the state has seen 2,144 COVID-19 related deaths and more than 48,000 cases, according to the Florida Department of Health.
I will be lowering the flags on all Federal Buildings and National Monuments to half-staff over the next three days in memory of the Americans we have lost to the CoronaVirus....
