DETROIT, Mich. -- A 30-pound cat named Zack, who recently took the internet by storm, now has a new home.
The Michigan Humane Society says Zack got adopted and his new family will help him on his journey to slim down.
"He's currently over 30 pounds and our medical staff is trying to get him to a healthier weight," wrote the Humane Society.
The Shelter says it received a "ton" of applications for Zack before he found his forever home.
