All eyes are on Florida with just 24 days left until election night.
"This is a fiercely fought for state," said political analyst Susan MacManus.
Both President Donald Trump's and former Vice President Joe Biden's campaigns will be all over Florida this week, including Tampa.
"We're the biggest state and critically important for both candidates," said Dr. MacManus.
Florida has 29 of the 270 electoral votes needed to win the election. Dr. MacManus said Trump "has to win," because there are more solid blue states than red. In Biden's case, she said his win could help build the democratic party in the state.
This election is very close, especially in Florida. Experts say both Trump and Biden are "basically tied" in Florida Polls.
"This is an election for the books. Everything we thought we knew about elections has pretty much been turned upside down in 2020," said Dr. MacManus.
More than 14 million Floridians have registered to vote, According to the state's Department of Election's office. That a million more than the 2016 election.
"Most voters are enthusiastic to vote, and they just can't tune it out this year," she said.
There are more than 5.2 million registered Democrats in the state, 5 million registered Republicans, and roughly 3.6 million independents.
