In an exclusive interview with Variety, Barbra Streisand revealed that she cloned her dog after it passed away in 2017.

According to Streisand, two of her dogs, 'Miss Violet' and 'Miss Scarlett' are clones of her late Coton du Tulear, 'Samantha'. According to Variety, Streisand had cells taken from Samantha's mouth and stomach before she died.

“They have different personalities,” Streisand told Variety. “I’m waiting for them to get older so I can see if they have her [Samantha’s] brown eyes and seriousness.”

Streisand reportedly has a third Coton du Tulear named 'Miss Fanny', who is a distant cousin of Samantha's.
