A woman was medevaced from a cruise ship off Port Manatee Wednesday night.
Coast Guard officials said a St. Petersburg boat crew medevaced the 58-year-old woman because she "required a higher level of care."
The woman was transferred to EMS at Merry Pier.
The cause of the medevac is unknown at this time.
