SEATTLE — An entire bridge was closed down in Seattle during rush hour Friday after someone reportedly had a shotgun in a disabled vehicle and was not cooperating with authorities.
According to KOMO in Seattle, the 520 bridge closed in both directions Friday afternoon.
They say the Washington State Department of Transportation responded to a disabled car in the eastbound lanes and the person wouldn't cooperate.

When the state patrol arrived, the person still was not cooperating and reportedly had a shotgun.
SWAT and negotiators responded, and the subject was peacefully taken into custody.
Way to go District 2 #WSP! Troopers did a great job bringing a peaceful ending to a subject is distress armed with a shotgun on the 520 floating bridge in King County. Always a good day when everyone goes home safe! https://t.co/F3hh1ceM0z
