TAMPA, Fla. — The suspect in the Seminole Heights murders worked closely with students at a charter school in Tampa.
The Principal and CEO of Trinity School said in a letter, "Just like all other residents of Tampa Bay, we are relieved to hear there has been an arrest in this case and our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims."
The letter went on to say, "You should know that Howell Donaldson III has attended athletic and other events at Trinity, as his sibling is a current Trinity student."

"I am shocked to know about it, but I don't have any real worry about the safety of the students or anything like that," said one parent.
Staff said Donaldson has never been an employee at Trinity, but he did provide private athletic coaching to some students at facilities off campus. Parents off camera told us Donaldson coached basketball.
"I'm glad they caught him. We can all rest a little easier hopefully," said another parent.
School staff said safety is their number on priority. Counselors will be at the school to help students.
