LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- We're getting a look at some new video of the woman deputies say killed her husband in Minnesota, and then killed a woman on Fort Myers Beach. The woman is now the subject of a nationwide search.
Nationwide manhunt underway for Grandmother accused of killing husband and Florida woman
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office released new surveillance video of Lois Riess on Monday.
It's from April 5th at the Smokin' Oyster Brewery on Fort Myers Beach. This was just four days before deputies say she killed Pamela Hutchinson a few blocks away. Hutchinson was vacationing on Fort Myers Beach.
Law enforcement says if you see Riess do not approach her.
We spoke with one law enforcement expert who believes she will do anything to avoid getting caught. "In her mind shes' thinking ‘I killed two people, what's another one. I gotta get away.’ She's not thinking rationally," says Walter Zalisko.
Deputies say Riess stole Hutchinson’s ID, cash, and car. They don't think she's in Southwest Florida anymore, but actually drove over to Corpus Christi, Texas.
U.S. Marshals are also looking for her because she's also wanted in connection to her husband's death in Minnesota.
Lois Riess is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information that can help authorities find her is encouraged to call law enforcement.
