The National Weather Service has confirmed there were two tornadoes in the Tampa Bay area Wednesday.
An EF-2 and an EF-1 tornado touched down in Tampa Bay.
Pinellas County was hit with the EF-2 tornado that was on the ground for about 13 miles. The NWS said the start time of the tornado was around 3:49 p.m. and lasted until 4:11 p.m.
Pinellas Park police said there were around 25 structures damaged due to the tornado.

In Lakeland, the NWS said there was an EF-1 tornado around 4:53 p.m. The tornado was on the ground for about 12 miles.
Thankfully, there were no injuries or deaths reported.
