TAMPA, Fla. — It is the week pizza lovers living from Palm Harbor to Tampa to Apollo Beach to St. Petersburg have waited a full year for.
Thursday kicked off Creative Loafing's annual Tampa Bay Pizza Week. Over the 10-day event, the 27 participating restaurants offer 10” specialty pizza deals for $10 or less.

The ABC Action News morning team each chose a favorite specialty pizza as their favorite.
James Tully grew up near Philadelphia. His choice of Westshore Pizza's Philly Deluxe helps give him little taste of home. Sarah Phinney enjoys New York New York Pizza's one topping pizza which comes with a drink. Greg Dee loves Gourmet Pizza Company's BLT pizza. It is topped with spinach, tomatoes, bacon, Gorgonzola cheese and a balsamic glaze.
This year, Creative Loafing is partnering with Metropolitan Ministries for Tampa Bay Pizza Week. A portion of proceeds from the sale of the pizza will benefit the nonprofit.
Creative Loafing is asking anyone taking advantage of Pizza Week specials to share a photo of their pizza on Instagram. You will automatically be entered to win $400 in restaurant gift certificates and $400 in Creative Loafing deals by following these directions:
