Tampa Bay-area Best Buy stores are holding holiday hiring fairs on Wednesday, October 12.
The electronics retailer is preparing for the holiday shopping season. It needs people who want to earn some extra cash over the next three months.
General Managers at all eleven Tampa Bay Best Buys will be screening applicants and conducting interviews for openings. The jobs available are for positions in sales, customer service, merchandising and inventory.
Openings available at the hiring fair are only for part-time seasonal work. Best Buy says sometimes there are opportunities to turn the jobs into more steady part- or full-time work after the holiday season ends.
Starting pay is $10 per hour.
The stores are located in South Tampa, Citrus Park, Brandon, Sarasota, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Port Richey, Wesley Chapel, New Tampa, University Town Center and Port Charlotte.
