Gov. Rick Scott will be at Florida Atlantic University Monday morning to sign a bill helping more students have access to an affordable education in Florida.
The law will also require universities to make textbooks cheaper.
Scott is scheduled to sign the bill at 10 a.m.
Colleges and the state will also need to find ways to keep the cost of higher education affordable.
The new law goes into effect July 1.
