WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Legoland Florida is reviving a beloved Sunshine State tradition: the waterskiing spectacular.
Brickbeard's Watersports Stunt Show debuts this weekend on the property's historic Lake Eloise, which began hosting family-friendly aquatic entertainment way back in the 1930s.
The 20-plus-minute all-ages show merges the old-school charms of the park's Cypress Gardens past with a modern extreme-sports twist.
There's a showstopping pyramid-formation waterskiing moment that will give any old-school Floridian chills.
There's also a totally wild FlyBoard demonstration for the kids that is all parts jetpacking and windsurfing. (Seriously, it's insane.)
Blackbeard's Watersports Stunt Show is part of the park's PirateFest Weekends, which will feature new characters, themed building activities and more.
