Some of Florida's biggest theme parks are set to submit their plans for reopening Thursday.
“Those plans will indicate on what dates they plan to reopen at various levels,” Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings said, adding the parks will most likely do some sort of phased reopening.
According to WFTV in Orlando, the mayor must review the proposal. Then he will visit each site with his team. After the plan is OK’d, it will be sent to the governor, who gives the final go-ahead.
Disney Springsand CityWalk have already reopened in a limited capacity.
Owners of Gatorland, Fun Spot and Icon Park have also reportedly submitted proposals to the task force on how they will reopen.
Universal Studios will be presenting their plans at the Orange County Reopening Task Force meeting Thursday.
