TAMPA, Fla. — Theme parks Busch Gardens and Adventure Island are expanding their hours and days of operation as guests and employees grow more comfortable with their new COVID-19 operating rules which require masks, social distancing and reservations.
Busch Gardens is once again hosting Summer Nights shindigs, expanding weekend hours and bringing back their fireworks display.
Adventure Island will now be open six days a week with Tuesdays the only closed day. The hours are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

New thrills include the trippy-sun Solar Vortex family slide and the reopened cliff jumps.
The biggest sign that the parks and their fans are adapting well to the "new normal" may be the return of an old favorite: Howl-O-Scream.
The Halloween-themed event kicks off September 25. That is a major deal since competitors such as Disney and Universal already canceled their Halloween events.
There will not be any indoor haunted houses at Howl-O-Scream this year, but Busch Gardens says it will up the creeps with outdoor scare zones and more.
Reservations are required for basically all visits to our theme parks. If you want to go make sure to bring your masks, lots of patience and some understanding.
