A Tampa woman won $2 million playing a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

Karina De Los Santos, 23, claimed the game's top prize from the $10 GOLD RUSH CLASSIC Scratch-Off game.

She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time lump-sum payment of $1,405,000.00.

“I want to invest in myself by opening up my own nail salon!” she said.

The winning ticket was purchased from Publix located at 10015 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. in Tampa. The store will receive a $4K bonus commission for selling the winning ticket. According to the lottery, the odds of winning a prize in the game are one-in-3.49.
