Florida woman claims $1M scratch-off prize after buying ticket from Wawa

LARGO, Fla. — A Largo woman has claimed a $1 million prize she won from a scratch-off ticket she purchased at a local Wawa.

Amy Lemley, 69, collected her prize at the Florida Lottery's Tampa office, where she chose to receive her winnings as a lump-sum payment of $820,000.

She played the 500X The Cash Scratch-Off game, which costs $50 to buy in.

Wawa's will receive a $2,000 commission bonus for selling the winning ticket.
