One lucky Florida player matched all five numbers and the Powerball in the Wednesday, August 12, POWERBALL® drawing, winning the $168.5 million jackpot!
The POWERBALL jackpot rolled 17 times since the June 13, 2020, drawing and generated approximately $16.5 million in contributions to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
The winning numbers were 2-6-18-36-37 and the Powerball was 21. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 4770 North Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach. The retailer will receive $100,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
Wednesday night’s POWERBALL drawing also produced two $50,000 winners and one $100,000 winner! The $50,000 winning tickets were purchased at Publix, located at 841 Cypress Parkway in Poinciana, and at Publix, located at 3720 Northwest 13th Street in Gainesville. The $100,000 winning ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 18320 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach.
The next POWERBALL drawing will be held Saturday, August 15, at 10:59 p.m. ET with an estimated $20 million jackpot.
