TAMPA, Fla. — State Road 60 in Tampa is expected to close in both directions under I-275 from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.
The Florida Department of Transportation says crews will be pouring a bridge deck over SR 60 for the widening of the I-275 northbound bridge. The work is part of operational improvements in the West Shore area.

FDOT spokesperson Kris Carson says the department has been speeding up certain projects, including the West Shore area operational improvements, because of decreased traffic. Because of that, she expects the project to be finished ahead of its scheduled completion date in September. It cost 31 million dollars.
