TAMPA, Fla. — Videos sent to our Driving Tampa Bay Forward tip line are raising questions about when drivers are able to turn left on red.
One viewer voiced her concerns after seeing Tampa drivers turn left on red from Green Street to Armenia Avenue nearly every work day.

We reached out to the Florida Highway Patrol for clarification.
Sgt. Steve Gaskins says drivers can only go left on red if they are turning from a one-way street onto another one-way street. Otherwise, it’s not permitted.
