ABC Action News was at Summerfield Blvd. just south of Big Bend Road on Friday, where the road was just repaved.

Earlier this month, Carole Schaller went to county commissioners to speak during public comment to request her residential road be repaired.
“I’ve been asking you this for five years,” Schaller said, a resident.
Schaller said the roadway riddled with potholes is only 600-feet.
“You can approve more homes to be built in that area, more homes to cross that road, but you won’t fix 600 feet,” Schaller said.
Commissioner Stacy White spoke up at the meeting, and said Schaller was correct. He said he remembers her being present at a meeting a year or two ago.
Someone with the county said that Summerfield Blvd. was on the plan to be repaired by the end of this year.
Well, this week, the county took about a day to repave that stretch of road.
“It took them awhile,” one driver said, “but it’s done now.”
The county suggests you file reports with their action center online. There is a section you can report road and sidewalk repairs.
