All I-275 travel lanes on the Howard Frankland Bridge will remain open this weekend following the postponement of the originally scheduled closure.
The Howard Frankland Bridge was initially scheduled to close from 8 p.m. Saturday, January 9 to noon Sunday, January 10, weather permitting, but the Florida Department of Transportation said the closure is no longer necessary "due to an unforeseen delay in the arrival of needed bridge equipment."
"As soon as we know the new date for the closure, we will communicate that immediately. Thank you for your patience." —FDOT (Thursday, Jan. 7)
