TAMPA, Fla. — After many complaints to the Driving Tampa Bay Forward tip line, we are finally hearing that Himes Avenue will be repaved.
We first reported in January that crews were repatching the area.

City of Tampa officials tell us that some interim paving work will be done on Himes Avenue from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. to Hillsborough Avenue.
The work will start on Monday, March 11 and is expected to be done on Friday, March 15.
The work was coordinated with Jesuit High School's spring break.
