ORLANDO, Fla. -- Universal Orlando Resort reopened CityWalk to the public with limitations in place.

The CityWalk will reopen from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily starting Thursday, May 14. Self-parking will be complimentary but valet parking will remain closed.

The restaurants at the CityWalk will also reopen but will offer limited menus and less seats to follow social distancing guidelines.

Guidelines that will be in place for guests and team members:

  • Face covering required
  • Temperature check required
  • Wash hands often
  • Social distancing (floor markings will be present)
  • Avoid contact with people who are sick

Additionally, the officials say capacity is limited at venues and staff will be continuously cleaning all tables, chairs and high-touch surfaces. Click here for more.

Some venues, like the Blue Man Group, all nightclubs and the Universal Cinemark will remain closed, Universal Orlando Resort said on its website. The theme parks will also remain closed.

Universal Orlando had shut down its theme parks back in March due to coronavirus concerns. The partial reopening of the CityWalk comes as Governor Ron DeSantis unveiled Phase 1 of his plan to reopen Florida.
