TAMPA, Fla. — If it is your family tradition to visit Santa Claus at your local mall, there is good news this year.

Santa will be at some Westfield Mall locations in late November. But don't expect your child to sit on Santa's lap this year.

Westfield is partnering with a company called Cherry Hill Programs to make sure St. Nick is following all CDC guidelines and local health protocols.

Guests will also be able to choose a virtual option this year, too. Click here for more information on that.

Appointments will not be required, but are strongly encouraged to reduce wait times and practice social distancing. Walk-up visits will be available as space allows.

Children will also be able to share their wish list with Santa Claus, but the contactless setup this year does not allow for children to sit on his lap.
