Polk County Public Schools asking students for input on 2020 graduation ceremony plans

POLK COUNTY, Fla. -- The Polk County Public Schools is asking students for their input on how they would like to graduate.

According to a video released by the school district, they released a shortlist of ceremony options.

Below are the following options offered by the school district:
Virtual ceremony - It will take place on the original date and students will be able to celebrate at home with their families
Drive-thru ceremony - It will take place at the original date and at the schools. Students and their families will get into their cars and then "drive the track or another location picked by the school."
Postpone the ceremony to June
Postpone the ceremony to July

Students have until April 30 to take the graduation survey on the student portal.

As of Thursday, all schools in Polk County are closed through May 1 due to coronavirus concerns.
