Pinellas County not turning off water for customers who haven't paid their bills through mid-May

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Pinellas County Utilities has announced it will continue to extend its grace period for customers who haven't paid their bills on time.

According to the county's announcement on Wednesday, it will extend its grace period for its customer from the original date of April 16 to May 16, 2020. With this grace period, customers who haven't paid their utility bills on time will not have their water or wastewater services disconnected until at least May 16.

Pinellas County Utilities' customer care offices will remain closed but can still be reached over email or by phone.

Customers can still pay their bills online, by calling 727-464-4000 or by mail at Pinellas County Utilities, P.O. Box 31208, Tampa, FL 33631-3208.
