MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Manatee County leaders voted on Tuesday to lift the curfew in the county.
Back on April 3, Manatee County Commissioners agreed to enact a temporary local curfew from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. to "enforce group gathering restrictions" on private properties. But as county leaders revisited the curfew for the second time on Friday, April 17, they decided to keep it going a little longer.

As of April 17, the order was not be enforced on private properties. Manatee County leaders agreed to have the curfew enforced on public areas and public spaces earlier in the month.
Law enforcement could only cite or break up large groups if they're in public areas.
