PINELLAS PARK, Fla. -- Nearly two dozen nursing home residents were taken to the hospital after testing positive for coronavirus, a Pinellas county official confirmed with ABC Action News Wednesday night.
According to Craig Hare with Pinellas County EMS and Fire Administration, 21 residents were transported from the Gulf Shore Care Center on 86th Avenue in Pinellas Park.
All 21 residents are believed to be asymptomatic. Hare said the facility was testing their residents and that was how they found out.
